At the Bloomington Winter and Woolery Farmers' Markets, SNAP shoppers can double the value of their benefits each week. In the years 2022 and 2023, the Woolery Market doubled SNAP dollars for 570 local people facing food insecurity, with demand increasing every year.
SNAP shoppers can spend up to $27 a week with their EBT card to receive double that amount in market tokens (up to $54). Market tokens can then be used at our vendor booths to buy nutritious local fruits, vegetables, meat, dairy, and more.
