Forsythia Farm is a producer of Farm Fresh Yarn, located in Monroe County between Bloomington and Ellettsville. We have raised angora rabbits since 2016 and alpacas since 2019. We shear our alpacas annually and collect the rabbits' fiber regularly, and spin the fleece, either by hand or by outsourcing to a small-batch fiber mill, into fabulous yarns, which we dye ourselves. We also sell unprocessed fiber, for spinners, felters, and crafters.
